 A lively ,engaging and entertaining Talk from a guitarist and singer whose career spans fifty years and still going strong. Saffron taught herself to play from a ‘Tune a Day’ book by Bert Weedon at the tender age of 12 in a tiny village in North Bucks – now a part of Milton Keynes City.

In this Talk , Saffron plays Classical,Folk,South American  Cuatro and Mississippi Blues guitar styles, presents a brief history of the guitar, shares  anecdotes and stories from a career in music which includes performing live on Bob Harris’s BBC Radio show , writing music for two Chanel 4 films, playing with Long John Baldry in USA ,gigs at the Royal Albert Hall and The Marquee Club  and playing blues guitar in a Mississippi cotton field.
